Secrets Of The Successful: Purse Parking, Sanctuaries and 50 Shades of Blue
During my 30+ years (yes – I know, I look like a millennial), I’ve crafted beautiful homes, penthouses and purse parking for some of Canada’s most fascinating and successful people, from award-winning film directors to C-Level executives
The thing I love the most about my work, is sitting down with my Clients, sipping a glass of port by the fire and discussing what they truly desire.
They often confide in me these surprising heartbreaks:
Sometimes they feel they have been underappreciated – their home does not feel like a safe sanctuary.
How frustrated they are that their current living environment does not match who they are, and ... they know they can afford it.
In other words: They have to kiss a lot of frogs to get what they want.
They don’t look forward to going home because work follows them and their current space makes it worse.
And ... The realization that time is finite! They realize that they’re not going to live forever, and they really should get off their ‘posterior’ and build a home and legacy that they can be proud of. And ... know that they deserve.
Do you sometimes feel the same way?
And, .... You know what? I’m always flabbergasted that so many of these brilliant people love the colour blue, and all its 50 shades. And, they never use it in their home!
I am always inspired by the strength, tenacity and self-sacrifice that’s required to be successful.
As ambitious as they are, and as much as they love what they do ....
At some point in their lives they want to let go and enjoy what they’ve created.
So, how do I help?
At the end of a successful project, my Clients often tell me: “It’s not the lavish spa or the tech gear in the media room that I love the most – it’s the time I now have to enjoy this.”
We are burdened by endless choices and too much information. And, the design process, without a Master Interior Designer can be overwhelming, making costly mistakes and worse yet – losing valuable time, and ... still not delivering what you truly wanted.
Many of my Clients have said that they appreciate that I know how to ask the right question at the right time to achieve what they truly desire. I present them with the ‘right’ choices unique to them. Timeless in value. One that will enhance their legacy and their lifestyle.
Change is always confronting ... Even good change.
Do you want to move forward? Let’s connect and find out how.
Since time is scarce, I can only take on a few Clients each year so that I can give them the one-to-one attention they deserve.
To find the right fit, ask yourself:
Do I want: a) quality, or b) a cookie-cutter solution?
Do I want: a) a hands-on Principal, or b) a junior?
Do I want: a) more time with the family, friends and the rest of the world, or b) I’ve got time to waste.
Then, if you chose A to any of the above, send me an e-mail to tell me a bit about yourself and your project. I will personally review your request. Then, we’ll book a one-on-one 15 – 25 minute call to see if you’re project is a good fit.
To be honest, there may be a few reasons you may choose not to work with me:
I’m not the cheapest designer on the block. I will deliver considerable value in your investment with me.
I view these projects as mini marriages. And to make sure the marriage produces a beautiful child (aka ... the project), it’s best to make sure that we’re compatible and the right fit. I value relationships (and .... divorce is expensive.)
If you’re looking to create an exceptional home, the next step is to tell me a bit about your project. What do you want to accomplish? What are the obstacles, challenges and aspirations for your new home?
After, we can book a 15 – 20 minute call so that we can look at what else might be possible.
